April 1971, France, Le Nouvel Observateur published „le manifeste des 343 salopes”, written by Simone de Beauvoir, in which 343 women asked for the legalization of abortion. It was signed by Gisèle Halimi, Catherine Deneuve and Jeanne Moreau.
October-November 1972, the Bobigny trial made a lot of noise. Marie-Claire, who aborted at 16 after being raped, was being sued, along with her mother and three women who helped her. Defended by lawyer Gisèle Halimi, the girl was acquitted.
January 17, 1975, The French National Assembly adopted the so-called Veil law, after heated debates. This law legalized and regulated abortion (In 1810, Napoleon introduced the crime of abortion). Abortion could be performed by a doctor at the request of the pregnant woman, before the end of the 10th week of pregnancy.

After reading this post, you will stop calling this dish “French fries”. Let’s check where comes from this word.
All is quiet today, still
Rainy and gray morning, rotten weather
Your soul also is gray
Hangover, you wake up, cigarette in your mouth
Headache, you drag yourself out of bed
Like every day, nothing changes
